Update #2
Update: I've reuploaded the file with some fixes. Mainly I think I've finally solved a stubborn kneecapped jumping glitch that would occur on the very edge of platforms. Also I felt a last minute change I made to the demo made movement feel distorted at times, so I've returned it. (It had to do with preventing diagonal inputs from being stronger than maximum speed. I had moved the code that limits this to maximum speed to happen before many other things, such as jump processing.)
Lastly I've gone to even greater lengths to get the mouse cursor out of the way. Believe it or not managing the cursor is incredibly complicated and fiddly. And jumps survive pausing/unpausing now :)
Note: Instead redownloading/unzipping the main program file is at http://csv.swordofmoonlight.net/SomEx.dll/1.2.3.4.zip.
I'm not going to be significantly updating this demo short these few niggling problems that haunted its release. It's only been downloaded 37 times at this point. I will do a major updates and I don't see any reason to not complete the project under this roof. But not more minor updates, knock on wood.
